The society is a point of contact for Australians visiting Britain and for Britons with Australian links and connections, be they business, social or family.
We offer a full calendar of imaginative and entertaining events through the year, including such prestigious functions as our summer reception, the summer Garden Party hosted by the Australian High Commissioner at his London Home and a formal Autumn Dinner at the House of Lords. In addition there are wine tastings in conjunction with Australia House, theatre evenings, cocktail parties, private visits to the Houses of Parliament and The Tower of London and much more.
We are allocated difficult-to-obtain tickets for Wimbledon and Lords and make these available to our membership through a ballot.
Our bi-annual publication, the BritOz Bulletin, is distributed to 3000 people as is our monthly E-Newsletter which advises members of what is on around the country and covering news and feature stories that will be of interest. Recent interviews in the Magazine include Rolf Harris, Author Kathy Lette and David Higgins CEO of the Olympic Delivery Authority.
