Join us for our Gala Dinner in Portsmouth to celebrate the 225th Anniversary of the First Fleet. The Royal Marines Museum will be open from 6pm for you to enjoy a private tour, a Drinks Reception will resume at 7pm accompanied by the Band of the Royal Marine Cadet Corp,culminating in a 4 course dinner at 7.30pm to be held in the magnificent surroundings of the historic Mountbatten Room. Our keynote address will be given by Dr Jonathan King, a relative of Philip Gidley King who was Arthur Phillip's Second Lieutenant and aide-de-camp onboard HMS Sirius in 1787 and who became the third Governor of New South Wales.

Car Parking is available for free at the Museum. The Railway Station is a few miles away and is a mainline station. It is connected to all network rail destinations.
An information sheet will be sent out on booking with details of local Hotels and B&B's and a list of local activities in Portsmouth, Southampton and the Isle of Wight that you may wish to enjoy over the weekend. We have secured group rate bookings in the hotel closest to the Royal Marines Museum.
