
The Cook Society celebrates the second Captain James Cook dinner in the Queen's House at the National Maritime Museum and rejoices in the origins of the two countries' special relationship. The Cook Society welcome members of the Britain-Australia Society and their guests to this event.
The Cook Society was founded in 1969 on the initiative of Prime Ministers Sir Alec Douglas Home and Sir Robert Gordon Menzies to promote British-Australian relations at a high level. The Society has a membership of 100 senior business and professional people, politicians, civil servants and academics and has counterparts in all Australian States.
On Firday 17th June The Cook Society shall be holding a dinner in the Queen's House at the Maritime Museum Greenwich. Departing by boat from Westminster Pier an 5.30pm, we shall then have a champagne reception followed by dinner in the Queen's House where guests will enjoy a fabulous dinner and be adressed by
Professor Lord May of Oxford OM AC FRS. The evening will end at 10.30.
