Dear Members and Friends,
As you will have read in the invitation sent out on Tuesday, the Britain-Australia Society is delighted to be hosting a unique online event with the Australian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, HE the Hon George Brandis QC. Whilst we wait for news from the Government that lockdown will be eased and we can host events again, I hope this discussion will give you a taste of some of the exciting things we have planned!
There is also news of new flights between London and Australia organised by the Australian Government with the support of Qantas, and Fine Wine Partners are continuing their excellent wine delivery offer exclusively for the BAS.
We will be back next week with our regular Good News Letter, but in the meantime I hope to see many of you online this coming Tuesday, 12 May for our conversation with the High Commissioner.
